ETCETERA THEATRE COMPANY

Please note that the Etcetera Theatre Company has been dormant since 2004, and we do not want CV or headshots from actors. Sorry.

Our in-house production company, The Etcetera Theatre Company, has developed playwrights, staging new works and innovative revivals since the theatre was opened in 1986.

Since then productions have included The UK premieres of Alan Ayckbourn’s The Westwoods and Between the Lines, David Hine’s Bondage and First London One Person Play Festival which spawned two acclaimed international successes Anorak of Fire and Independent State.

In 1996 we won a Guinness Ingenuity Award in association with the Royal National Theatre in order to stage the Second London One Person Play Festival. That year we also received a nomination for The Peter Brook Empty Space Award.

August 2001 saw the company stage a production of Chris Morris' Blue Jam, adapted for the stage from the cult radio show. Blue Jam enjoyed a sell-out run and huge critical success (Guardian, Time Out and Evening Standard’s Critics Choice.) The show transferred to the Riverside Studios for three weeks in December 2001 and BAC in October 2002.
